It is difficult to envisage a life without problems, and issues stemming from anger, anxiety, depression and stress.  By galvanising our minds to handle these conditions we could live a more complete life based on creativity and solutions.  As we exercise our intellectual creative – solution focused mind, we find our lives have great upward momentum.

There a five stages of each session

  • First is to focus on all the positive things that we have been part of and that have happened during the week.
  • Then we measure where we are in terms of happiness and confidence
  • Next we create a mental picture of what it would be like to be a bit more happy and confident.  This is an achievable and time sensitive goal that is purely designed by you, the client.
  • Then we lay back and relax whilst reinforcing positive thought, action and interaction.  The image of the next step in our journey of happiness and confidence is strengthened with positive affirmations.
  • Throughout the week we focus on putting into practice our weekly goal, whilst listening to our sleep CD, getting quality sleep and focusing on the positives.

The changes that come from this can not be underestimated.  If we think of  the principles of compounding, we can appreciate that over time what looks like a little actually turns into a colossal and magnificent thing.  The story of a penny doubling every day for 31 days makes this fantastic clear; by day 31 one penny equals £10,737,418.20.  If we keep track of our progress on the happiness and confidence scale, we can see that 10-15 sessions of taking small achievable steps toward confidence and happiness can bring about profound changes.

So if we are firmly in our intellectual mind, we can see that depression, anger, stress and anxiety associated conditions would be minimised.  The old adage, ‘when the sun shines, all things sick, sad and creepy vanish’ expresses this with wonderful precision.
